- The straws are produced in Lithuania, in a dedicated and FSSC 22000 certified manufacturing facility, by highly trained and experienced people in accordance to the stringiest EU food packaging safety requirements. - We use only top of the range safe EU origin paper from top paper mills and safest EU equipment. - The finishing quality of straws, no fizziness in carbonated drinks and durability in any liquid is outstanding, including consistent batch by batch mass quality. It took us a really long time to conduct the necessary R&D to get the right product. - We ensure no cross-contamination at every stage and use only FSC certified virgin wood pulp. - These straws contain the absolute minimum of PVA glue - the smallest amount by mass on the market. - Our straws underwent full compound migration analysis by EUROFINS and they are absolutely safe to be in contact with any food or drink at any temperature. Unlike others, we do not use any kind of mineral oils to improve straw performance, no coatings, no plastic additives, no chloropropanols or photoinitiators found in Chinese and numerous other straws by recent Swiss study. - Strict allergen control as per FSSC 22000. - NB eco is ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 certified. - Our straws are fully approved for use by top retail, fast food and industrial straw brands. - Our straws are in the process of being approved as industrial/home compostable and fully biodegradable in water and soil and vegan. |
