In paper production, it is essential to ensure that the correct fabric tension is maintained if the tension is too high or too low this will adversely affect the quality and quantity of the output. Accumax fabric tension control systems. (felt & wire stretchers) ensure that constant fabric tension is maintained during the production process. Felt Stretchers are available in 3 Types 1) Manual Felt Stretcher 2) Motorised Felt Stretcher 3) Automatic Felt Stretcher (Pneumatic) These felt stretchers are equipped with two worm & worm wheel type gearboxes connected by a cross shaft. The two gliding brackets with the spindle nut are carrying the tension roll bearing assembly which is driven by acme threaded self-locking spindle and are sliding on profiled pipes. Customization can be done with the dimensions of the spindle and the pipes as per the requirement. Felt stretchers are available with working lengths from 800 mm to 2000 mm. The Stretchers can be driven manually with a hand wheel, electrically with a gear motor, or pneumatically with a pneumatic cylinder. |
