BASE PAPER : The base paper used for manufacturing insulating crepe paper is made by established company in India who are importing long fibre pure wood pulp. The paper has an excellent electrical properties. This base paper is chemically neutral with low ash, chloride & sulphate content. The paper has a very uniform formation and 100% unbleached sulphote conifer wood pulp. CREPE PAPER : Jumbo Crepe Kraft Paper Insulation Crepe Paper is one of the most important solidinsulation of the transformers oil-paper insulation system. It influences to the quality & life-span of transformers directly The sophisticated fully automatic boiler takes care of temperature controls in process and moisture content of the paper. The mechanical strength as well cross mechanical strength is enhanced in the process. The BDV is raised to 80% more than the average found in base insulating kraft paper. The pH value remains intact but slightly more towards acidic (prefered). The Hill counts are more than the regular conventional crepe kraft paper which increases volume of the paper, allows more oil to retain, finally keeps the instrument more cool (Oil Transformer). APPLICATION : This crepe paper is used to manufacture of oil-immersion transformers, current transformers of types IMB, CT, CVT etc. for making leads and shields. This paper has 300% more strength and can take various shapes. It is also used to cover copper conductors which can be bend upto 180º. RANGE / THICKNESS OF THE PAPER: The base kraft paper used is 1.5 mil (40 mic; 2 mil (50 mic; 2.5 mil (65 mic; 3 mil (75 mic; 4 mil (100 mic; 5 mil (125 mic) & 6 mil (150 mic). After Creping the thickness of the paper depends on stretch. We can give stretch upto 250%.
