Sealing, floating, and deininking cell. It's a single machine where 3 stages in series would, otherwise, be required. Or to replace 4 to 5 conventional stages. Reject discharge is achieved through slight overpressure, which is adjustable and can be controlled without fiber being carried away with the foam. In most case secondary machine is not required. Losses and quality can also be optimized. Air is added through special canisters containing auto-clean injectors which are separate from floating machine's body. If required, this permits the system to adjust the quality of air added. Moreover, air bubbles adhere much better to the particles to be removed due to a special mixing chamber. The auto-clean injectors will not plug. With the same losses, this floating machine can yield 1-1.5% higher brightness than existing systems. |
